Wrapping up the week with you and thinking about all of the fun things to come in the next couple of months. Sharing some random thoughts with you this morning, too!
Denver is SO pretty right now! It has been a warm Fall and we haven’t really had any bad weather so the leaves are vibrant and amazingly still on the trees.
It has been fabulous!!
I feel like I have been nesting like crazy. Like when I was pregnant getting ready to welcome a baby into the world.
After last year and getting through COVID without being able to see family, I am excited to host Thanksgiving and Christmas again. I think that is why I have been really working on pulling the final details of the house together.
How about you? Are you hosting any holidays this year?
I found the best drapes that look EXACTLY like the $800/panel linen drapes from PB, but only cost me $66/panel! I am going to hang them today so you can see that over on IG @aprilcolleen in stories if you would like to follow along and check them out. I want to get them up and see how I like them but I will write a post and share all the details once I have a chance to love them in my home.
Speaking of nesting. My oldest daughter’s birthday is in November…..she will be 29 this year. And last night we were talking about her having a baby.
What will/do you use to call yourself when your children have babies?
I think I want to be Mimi.
Nana is what we have always used in our family, but I feel too young. And waaaaayyyyy too young to be grandma!
Although, I think I have to get glasses soon because I am having trouble reading the menu at restaurants.
My hubby and I have been watching all the shows lately. With my husband’s cancer his battery is low in the evenings so he can only do so much. Shows is what we do. Especially since the evenings are too chilly to walk now!
What have you been watching that you love?
We are watching American Rust (love Jeff Daniels), The Morning Show, Invasion and Foundation (my hubby is a huge Sci-fi fan!).
Washable leather sweatpants! What?
I bought THE BEST pants this week!! They are basically a fancy leather sweatpant and I can’t wear them enough! They are so chic and they make me feel cool even though I am comfy as heck!
I loved them so much I got them in black, bordeaux and deep green, but they also have a deep mustard. And you can wash them in the washer. They run a little big so I got a small. I am 5’2″ and they are perfect. You need these in your life!!
