Happy September! I hope you’re enjoying a beautiful 3-day weekend.
What is your idea of relaxing this weekend? Soaking up the last open days of the pool? Lazy days reading in a lounge chair? Spending time outdoors? Getting away?
My idea of relaxing is getting my act together and regrouping so I am taking this 3-day weekend to work on little ignored projects around the house.
You know, cleaning the oven, putting things away that have been pulled out, finding the multi-tool I needed for a project.
One of those ignored little things is my garage. OMG the mess from my closet project has left me unable to park inside my own garage and I am starting not to be able to find the tools I need.
So I pulled everything out yesterday (someone asked if I was having a garage sale) and started with the floors. I ran to Home Depot and grabbed some peg board to hang my nail guns and drills. I got all of my wood up off the floor and hung it on brackets. And I finally hung some shelving for odds and ends in there.
I will be writing a post soon letting you all know what I did and bought to organize the garage. I think you will find it really helpful or at least a little inspiring.
I have a little bit more work to do today, like retrofitting a couple of utility carts to hold my saws and then I am officially done with organizing the garage for the season!
Oh, and I found the multi-tool I was looking for underneath a pile of other tools.
So now that it is September, are you ready for Fall?
Every time there is a new turn of the season, I feel a little more energized and excited for something new. How about you? When we lived in Arizona we didn’t really get the 4 seasons. Let me tell you, it is hard to want to put out pumpkins and other Fall decor when it is still 95 degrees outside. It just doesn’t feel right!
Fall officially begins on September 23 and my “Fall Bins” are ready to come off the shelves. Living in Colorado makes seasonal transitions a little more fun!
This is one of the beautiful wreaths I found for us in my latest post. ! Isn’t it so pretty? I found 8 more and listed them for you so check it out. 9 Fall Wreaths over on Amazon. There is something for everyone on my list and a new Fall wreath can be on your porch in just a few days! All are under $40, too.
Want some inspo on making a wreath for Halloween? See my Spooky Crow Wreath to spark your creativity!
I can’t wait to do my closet reveal for everyone! I love the wallpaper and all the details. I am working on that post so it should be up soon, too!
Have a great weekend. Until next time, keep creating.
