Good morning! Happy October! I hope you are well today!!
It’s another beautiful Fall day here in Colorado. The leaves are just starting to turn ever so slightly reminding us that Fall is here, even though our weather has been in the 80s this week and absolutely gorgeous! I love soaking up these days and enjoying cooler evenings by the fire pit with a glass of wine and our favorite music. These are the best days!
(Don’t miss your FREE Halloween printables below!)
I am still working on projects around here, wrapping up this and that, and trying to decide what I want to do next that won’t tear up the house and bleed into the holidays. I have lots of “little” (in my opinion) tasks I can do that won’t be too encroaching on the house. Here are my choices:
- Update the gym to get ready for winter workouts
- Clean out all the closets
- Add fancy trim to my windows in the living room and around the front door in the entryway
- Build new nightstands for my bedroom
I know which one I should do, and which one I want to do. Which one do you think I should do next? I would love to hear your opinion in the comments!
Thankfully it is football season so whatever I do I don’t have to worry about it taking up all of my time because nobody will notice. With Sunday, Monday night, Thursday night and CU football on Saturdays that gives me plenty of time to do basically whatever, whenever for as long as I want! LOL!
I do love a good game, as I still bleed orange and blue from being a Denver Broncos Cheerleader (and they stink again this year), but I cannot watch football every day of the week. How about you? Do you even like football?
In other news: I have a very exciting thing to share with you that is coming in January….but I can’t just yet. Just know that I am working on an extraordinary project so dear to my heart that will help inspire so many people with their homes and can’t wait to tell you about it once it is ready to launch!
What you might have missed this week:
I shared 3 Fun Ways to Paint your Faux Pumpkins
See what I did to these old, faux pumpkins I had in my storage room! I LOVE the way they all turned out and I think they will inspire you to take a look at your old decor and see what you can do to update it.
I duped what I saw in the stores and I think they turned out amazing!
Halloween is in 30 days! Last Halloween I drove to Carmel, California with my bestie for her 50th birthday so I missed it completely. I had my hubby put out a bowl full of candy and left a cute note on the door for the kids. He went into the basement with our pup so she wouldn’t go crazy all night.
I created these cute little printables just for you to use this Halloween for when you run out of candy, if you need to step out but still want to participate in the fun, or want to join in/start a neighborhood “BOO”!
Click on an image to take you to the file to download. You will receive all 6 printables in your folder, but you can choose which ones you want to print! I suggest using a nice cardstock to print on.
This year I will be here to hand out candy and have some adorable porch decor coming your way next week. I don’t do creepy Halloween. Not at all. Never have. But I do love a good scary movie!
Speaking of, did you see this new docuseries coming out on Apple TV? “The Enfield Poltergeist” is audio recordings of actual events that took place and reenacted for the series using that audio. It looks terrifying. So terrifying that I am not sure I will watch….ok I probably will. And then not sleep for days haha! It is so fascinating to me! Anyone else?
I hope you have a great week ahead!! Until next time, keep creating, friend!
