Do you take the time to plan your week before it starts or do you like to just roll with it??
I’m taking a moment with my planner to make my week a little less stressful with trying to remember all the things. The holidays are coming up, along with all of the school activities, so if I don’t write it all down I think I might just forget to do something! And that would make me feel worse than just taking some quiet time with a cup of coffee to get ahead of it. While pulling out my Fall decor I found these pumpkins that I have had for over a decade. I was inspired by some other glass pumpkins I had recently seen that were hand painted and I decided to add a little whimsy to mine. I chose simple craft paint that would could remove later if I wanted to with some water and soap.
Colors: Folkart - Linen Toile, Americana - Burnt Sienna and Light Avocado. It was an easy project that took an hour at most and I think they’re so cute!

Sharing 3 tips for your paint roller!

1. Choose the correct nap for your project. The nap refers to the length/thickness of the fabric on your roller. The more texture you have on a wall, the higher nap you should choose. If you want the smoothest finish possible, choose a very short nap.
2. Use tinfoil to line your paint tray. You will be able to use the tray over and over again and have a no-mess clean up. Environmentally better than washing paint down the drain.
3. If you aren’t done with your project, wrap your roller in tinfoil and plastic (old grocery bag will do fine) and store your roller in a fridge. The humidity will keep the paint from drying out and this will work for days!!
